Styled letters are Unicode symbols, so screen readers may read them letter by letter and search may not match them. Use them for a headline or one key line, not the whole post. Only English letters and numbers change.

About this tool

LinkedIn posts are plain text, so there is no way to make a headline bold from the editor. This formatter swaps English letters and numbers for their Unicode bold, italic, or monospace look-alikes and can turn a list into bullet points, so a key line stands out in the feed.

How to use

  1. Type the line you want to stand out, such as a headline.
  2. Pick a style: bold, italic, bold italic, or monospace.
  3. Optionally turn each line into a bullet point.
  4. Copy the result and paste it into your LinkedIn post.

FAQ

Why are Korean characters not converted?

Unicode only has bold and italic look-alikes for English letters and digits. Other scripts, including Korean, stay as they are.

Is there a downside to Unicode bold text?

Screen readers may read the styled letters one by one, and people searching for a word will not match the styled version. Use it for a headline or one key line rather than the whole post.

Does this work on X, Threads, and Instagram too?

Yes. The output is plain Unicode text, so it pastes anywhere. Note that X counts these symbols as 2 characters each.
