About this tool

A blog intro or a launch note rarely fits in one post. The splitter breaks your text at paragraph and sentence boundaries first, so each post reads on its own, and only cuts words when a single sentence is longer than the limit. Links stay intact and numbering is counted against the limit.

How to use

  1. Paste your long text.
  2. Choose the platform you are posting to.
  3. Turn numbering on or off.
  4. Copy each post in order, or copy the whole thread at once.

FAQ

Where does it split the text?

At blank lines between paragraphs first, then after sentence-ending punctuation. A sentence is only cut between words when it is longer than one post can hold, and a link is never broken at its dots.

Does the numbering count toward the limit?

Yes. The " 3/7" suffix is reserved before splitting, so every numbered post still fits.

How long should a thread be?

Shorter is usually better. If the split produces more than seven or eight posts, consider cutting the text or linking to the full article in the last post instead.
